Our mission of Rodney Heard’s Basketball Camp is to help boys and girl’s ages 5-17 learn the discipline and skill sets of the game of basketball.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help each participant develop the discipline of a student athlete and reach their fullest potential at the game of basketball, so they can earn a basketball college scholarship to help support the cost of their education.
Meet Rodney Heard
Over the course of a career in basketball that spans over 35 years, Rodney Heard has helped over 5,000 student athletes obtain college basketball scholarships to hundreds of colleges and universities athletic programs across the United States. Since 1989 Rodney Heard ‘s Basketball Camp has worked with over 10,000 young people.
Modestly priced at less than $150.00 for the week, the camp is affordable to low-income families. Students also have an opportunity to receive a scholarship to participate in the camp for the week.
Rodney Heard has worked in the NBA for over three decades as a Director of Scouting for the New York Knicks, The Atlanta Hawks and the Memphis Grizzlies. He has coached college and professional basketball teams in the United States and abroad . Rodney Heard is currently scouting internationally in Russia, China, Europe and the Middle East.
